This faboulous country opened its doors to Association Léon as Irène Bostsarron – a dear friend of Fanny & Nicolas – followed her heart to Ho Chi Minh in 2014.
On top of taking care of her numerous family members, Irène volonteered to team up with us to search for promising projects to support around the capital area. With her in place, we knew for sure we could rely on somebody we could trust.
It didn’t take long until she met Jean-Marc Mignot, a french citizen active in many social projects both medical and educational. He helped us discover Dat Viet, and we have been supporting them in various ways since then.
But that was not it, Irène got involved as well in Friends For Street Children (FFSC), offering her time and sewing skills. This is how we heared of the education center Binh Trieu.
